In theory, a yardstick should always deliver the same results under the same measuring conditions. But if you take the photon in the "double-slit experiment" as your yardstick, you already have a problem: only probability distributions can be predicted, not which slit the photon will actually pass through.
A person can achieve different results in a test under identical test conditions, because a person's "inner conditions" are constantly changing, and these changes have a direct influence on the test. Example: tired and out of sorts on one occasion, well rested and balanced on another – this produces different results in an IQ test.
